trend: no head table

October 24, 2009

That’s right a lot of brides are doing away with the traditional head table, whether it be the bride and groom and their parents or the bride and groom and their bridal party. The sweetheart table has become very popular, a table for just the bride and groom. But I found this very interesting concept from a bride. She created a seat for herself and the groom at EACH table.During dinner they set the grooms phone to a 7 minute timer and when it went off  they picked up their plates and went to the next table. They said that it was the best part of their wedding for their guests.

trend: dancefloor decals

October 16, 2009

A nice, simple detail that will wow your guests and personalize your wedding is a decal for your dancefloor! Adding such a classy touch has never been so easy. They apply and come off just like a sticker! You might remember the one posted from Mark & Amanda’s wedding earlier this year.

Inexpensive and beautiful.

It is a great way to add color and change the mood of your wedding, add a little bit of color to water.

Favours from the bride and groom were magnets with photos of them through out the years. Their tradition each year on their anniversary is to go to a photobooth and get a set of photos done. This tradition was also incorporated into their wedding reception, they had a Photobooth available for guests to use at their reception, how cool!
