Happy Earth Day!

Since it is earth day I thought I would bring you something new and Earth friendly. They are pretty chic electronic invitations. I personally am not a fan, I believe a weddings theme should be felt through the textures of the paper – but that’s the scrapbooker in me and not everyone understands different papers – thus not nearly as important!

Paperless Post does a superb job on creating electronic invites that are beautiful and have oh so many features, take a look for yourself it might be the right option for you! You need to create an account to see the options and wow, there are some fabulous options very modern to very classic the preview on the front page is nothing compared to what they have once you create a log in! This is perfect for baby showers, new homes, bridal showers, birthday parties, house warmings etc. I’m still hesitant for weddings but they do such a good job at it, that it only makes sense to use it for weddings too.

Oh, and your first 25 stamps are free, so go set up an account and play!

I love these…you can have chic invitations without harming the planet. A great idea for those who are looking for ways to green their wedding.

Paperless Post is great for less formal events, but I’m with the author — something like a wedding needs paper. Printed invites just do a better job of saying “this is special!” Yet many parts of a wedding invitation make sense to be online. That’s why we’ve been working on hybrid invitations to meet the needs of both.
