These photos were taken last month and FEATURED on Wedding Chicks (I’m very proud of this) But I thought it was my turn to feature these phenomenal images. Trust me these are far last tablescapes – in fact be watching for something new coming at the end of this month

Eco Entertaining
So take note of the place mats, they are from recycle cardboard. I used a template (scrapbook paper – from my favorite place Treasured Memories - Where I worked for several years!) and traced it out on to some scrap thick cardboard.
Wood cookies sliced from some trees my dad had to chop down – also very eco friendly
The table number was cut from a tree I found in the local eco waste dump
Yup I stole it from the dump. Well worth it don’t you think? I’m also a fabric junkie and buy random fabrics that I think I’m going to make something out of and never do so I use them to inspire my tablescapes!
Vintage Chic
I so love this orchid image. The tea cups are from my Mother In Law, she loves to collect them so I just borrowed a few. The rest of the supplies are mostly from Salvation Army.
With the exception of my favorite find – the silver frog. What silver frog? Well the center piece of flowers is sitting in what is known as a frog. It contains several holes to put flowers in – kind of a cheating way of making arrangements at home. It’s an antique I scored for $20, it’s worth way more than that, say $75+. They are rare and hard to find in such good condition and in real silver. I use to work at an antique store (another one of my interesting and fun jobs) so I know a lot of random information on antiques and love a good find! I also have an exquisite collection of antique compacts (they were just stunning back in the 1920-1940′s) and antique Swarovski jewelery that was made by a Canadian jeweler.
