Deb and Bob had a beautiful winter wedding that kicked off the 2015 wedding season. Their wedding was based around a painting the grooms late brother had painted, it was used for the invitations and then the colours were pulled for the decor.
A few details, I loved, were the alternating centrepieces which we also used during the ceremony to get the most “bang for her buck”, and the little green ribbon on her bouquet. Deb was an organ transplant recipient and she had be in tears at our first consultation, she wanted to pay respect to the person who had helped make this day come true for her. The cookie favours were a surprise to the bride, she had ask Gloria from the Art of Cake for cookie favours but Gloria surprised her by hand painting each one replicating the brother’s painting – see her reaction below.
