TUESDAY TIPS || EDMONTON WEDDING PLANNER
Weather in Alberta is some of the most unpredictable in the world – I’m certain. Over the past nine wedding sessions, I feel I have seen it all. You can never be too prepared when it comes to an outdoor ceremony. Luckily in those years, I have not yet to have an outdoor ceremony relocated. We have many beautiful options in the Edmonton area from Rainer Gardens, Lions Gardens, La Cite Francophone, Hasting Lakes, The Art Gallery of Alberta, and so on. However, as beautiful as these spots go, we all know it can go from a beautiful +30*C to a thundering windy mess in less than thirty minutes. Thus, you need to plan ahead and book a “back up” location or discuss it with your venue when making outdoor ceremony arrangements. Make sure the most important part of the day is weather proof!
When thinking about outdoor ceremonies please also consider your guests. During winter blankets and perhaps some coco, and during summer, fans, water bottles, and some umbrellas are great!
