I have been planning events since 2006 when I started working on corporate events. I have had some interesting jobs in my life, but none have been as rewarding for me as planning a wedding and watch two people make the ultimate commitment. I love weddings from the photos to the favors; it is all important for setting the atmosphere for the day. Each choice can make or break friendships as well as the budget. Careful planning of the event is essential which is why having a wedding planner is such a huge advantage.
In 2009 I was certified by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC), as a wedding planner; and completed my certificate in Event Management from Mount Royal. In 2006 I graduated with honors from NAIT from the Office and Records Administrative Assistant diploma program.
Some random facts about me - I am a published scrapbooker; my favorite drink is a Starbucks Black Tea Lemonade; I have two parrots - Charlie & Lola; my husband, Rowan, and I met on a blind date - our first official date was at a car show; and I love Law and Order.
