Planning any wedding comes with challenges, this one came with a unique challenge. Time. All though time is usually a concern, planning a wedding in six short weeks isn’t usually the challenge. We came up with a game plan and we had to attack it quickly and efficiently. When planning a wedding in such a short time frame, flexibility and decisiveness is key. You need to be ready to sign contracts on the spot as you don’t have time to go back and forth between vendors. Also narrowing your choices down to two before going or doing a bunch of research before hand is key – again you don’t have time to waste. You also don’t have a lot of time for DIY projects at all so you’re best off paying someone else to do items to ensure they are completed.
I absolutely loved working with Tracy + Shayne, all thought I’m kind of sad it was only six weeks, most of my couples I at least have a year of planning with to get to know them. I wish them many years of happiness!
