It was a very beautiful and very warm day on Kim + Kelly’s wedding, which took place at the Fort Edmonton Hanger. She choose a beautiful combination of Navy and Yellow. Her flower were from Studio Bloom, with orchids, billy balls, succulents, mums, and freesia it made for a stunning bouquet.
There were a few things unique about this wedding, the one that stands out the most was the Cake Cutting during the actual wedding ceremony. The bride did not want to have to cut the cake during the reception and preferred that the cake be cut during the ceremony – like a sand ceremony or candle lighting would be done (you can see the cake on the signing table)
Kim + Kelly used panes from their house (from when they renovated) to write their seating chart on. A very personal touch.
Oh the lantern chandelier. Kelly happens to be an engineer and a simple chandelier would not do, and when I mentioned a lantern chandelier would be nice during one our meetings, he rigged this up. It was quite the task getting it up and very interesting to watch. He did a fantastic job.
Kim + Kelly did not want cake for their guests, but rather a donut table, I think it turned out fantastic and the guests loved it!
We wish Kim + Kelly many, many years of happiness in their marriage, it was an absolute delight working with the two of you on your beautiful wedding.
